Family RULES

Every family has rules. Our Prophetic Family has particular rules designed to protect everyone and make this a safe family. Behaviors that show dishonesty of character or aggression towards others will get you removed from the community very quickly.

A Safe Community

Honesty

&

Integrity

We LOVE that people love this community, and so much so, that they usually want to share this community with others. We ask these things of you:

-Do Share your story with others about how this community is helping you, and encourage your friends to join the community.

Call People Up; Don't Push Them Down

Not

WE DON'T EXPOSE SINS - WE SET CAPTIVES FREE

Shame

Remember we are in the New Covenant, not the old covenant. New Covenant prophecy is about speaking to the identity of Christ in people, calling out the treasure inside of them.

Prophecy in our meetings is never to be used for exposing people's sins or problems. Prophecy is only to be used to speak words of love, comfort, encouragement, uplifting things.

If you have never prophesied from a place of love before, then please come to one of our prophetic training or personal prophecy meetings before attending any of the other meetings.

There is no Condemnation to those in Christ

No Judgment or Condemnation

Scripture declares there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. If you are in Christ, you should not be hearing words of condemnation for others – at least not for our meetings.

There was a time, (and still is unfortunately), where some people will give out words of condemnation and judgment and think they are giving prophetic words.

This is not genuine prophecy and is not something tolerated in this community. We are a community built on loving one another, and we do this through building each other up, not by tearing each other down.

Prophesy from God's heart, not your hurts

Be Still and Know

One common abuse of the prophetic is when people are prophesying from offenses they have chosen to retain instead of forgive.
An example of this is if you get partnered up with somebody you have something against or a judgment towards. And instead of being still and hearing the voice of God afresh, you begin to speak from that offense or judgment. This is harmful and counterproductive to genuine prophecy.

Remember that you have the ability to JUDGE (and reject) words

What to do with bad words

It’s a really good thing we are under the New Covenant and not the Old, because under the Old, if a prophet spoke something that did not come to pass, you would stone them to death!

Under the New Covenant, everybody has the Holy Spirit living in them. We all have the ability to hear the voice of God, and this is a gift that sometimes we are still growing in. Because of this, there might be occasions where you receive a word that does not resonate with you as accurate or is a genuine prophecy. Perhaps it’s a word of judgment, or condemnation, or something that’s just completely inaccurate. Understand that you have the ability to reject some of these words, especially (and always) if they do not line up with the teachings of Christ.
